Levantine Food Culture

The Levantine food culture has its roots in the Bedouins or the nomads that roamed the region historically.

Relying on yogurt, milk, butter and bread for daily food, they had dates for dessert and meats for special occasions like marriages & feasts.

A throwback to the time when bread was baked with the most basic of nature’s elements. When broken, the bread would ooze out love and tenderness put into it by the maker.  Meanwhile these revered gentlemen stood outside in wait for some piping hot falafel and freshly baked pita bread. The legends of Levant go far back in time.
The authentic spices from across the region, arrived here stored on sailboats.
This region has not only witnessed powerful rulers of the era but also the evolution of the Levantine culture over centuries.
